OUR SAVIOR’S WEEKLY LETTER
I Am Who I Am! That is how God identified Himself to Moses when speaking to him from the burning bush (Exodus 3:14) Certainly He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - the God of the Past with a record of unwavering faithfulness. He is also the God of the Future, who promises deliverance and ultimate victory for all who believe. However, at this time, God presented Himself to Moses as the God of the Now - an ever present help in time of need. In the same way He comes to us - here and now. We too can testify of His faithfulness in the past and we certainly look forward to His sure return in the unknown future; but be encouraged with the promise of His presence now - equipping and empowering us with all that we need to serve as His representatives, letting the light of His love shine through us.

This is a unique opportunity to let Jesus’ love shine through us to our honored guests and their parent and caregivers. Our guest list is filled, but there is a need for volunteers, particularly for buddies to accompany the guests. Volunteers are also needed to help with decorations, set up and take down, making corsages and assisting in the respite room. You may register as a NTS volunteer through our church website (oslalbany. org).
Our Savior’s High School? John Richardson, principal of Our Savior’s Christian School, will give a presentation on the feasibility of Our Savior’s High School on Sunday, November 9 th , following the worship service. November Clean-Up and Decorating:
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, November 29th, 2025!
Our Savior's will, once again, be transformed inside and out to prepare for Advent and Christmas! We welcome all who are willing and able as there are plenty of jobs to accomplish.
Here is what the day will look like, God willing:
8:30am - 11:30am - outside crews will tackle raking, bagging, leaf blowing and any other remaining outdoor task, for example, flower bed clean-up. The goal will be to remove leaves from both the church and school grounds.
1pm - 3:30pm - Decorating begins! The popular adage "the more the merrier" definitely applies here! Our main projects will include setting up and decorating the Christmas trees, setting up nativity displays, putting up lights and greening up the narthex, breezeway and fellowship room.
A sign up sheet is in the narthex waiting for you to put your name on it, now, ππ Yes, YOU! And one more detail before you go sign-up... we are providing a food/snacking table complete with hearty to lighter choices along with hot and cold beverages throughout the morning and afternoon. Feel free to bring something to share or just come and see what delicious nibbles await you.
Praise God for this beautiful season of preparation in our hearts, homes and church. Come Immanuel, we pray. May you and yours be blessed this December by His Word, His Spirit and the fellowship of His believers. SEE YOU THERE!
